RAD
Alright! After last week’s Noob Court fiasco, I’m hoping we can ease on in to a nice, easy round of pleasant non-accusatory questions. GEM
Me too. Let’s try to make this a Noob Cup free zone! In fact, I’ve actually even brought
a delicious stack of freshly made cheese toasties
to help get us through it. RAD
Yum! Thanks Gem! Ok, let’s get stuck in with this one from Olive. You know olives would
actually go really we in a cheese toastie, with a little bit
of pasta sauce and some fresh basil. You’ve got yourself a pizza toastie going. Olive
Hi ggsp , in Fern Flower how would you end the game? IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER I WILL MAKE DARREN INVADE
YOUR DEVICES and I’LL TAKE YOUR CHEESE TOASTIES!!! RAD
No! Not our toasties! Quick, Gem. We better answer Olives question. GEM
Well, actually, I don’t know if you really can finish Fern Flower? The farthest I ended up getting to on my best run was around
one thousand three hundred-ish. There are people online claiming to have reached higher
than this. But I haven’t been able to find confirmation of whether there is an official
end-point. RAD
Yeah, it certainly seems to be more the kind of game you pick up to kill some time and try and beat your personal best. Rather than
it being a really story-driven or level-based game that you can finish. GEM
I think you might be right. RAD
Ok, so for now, I think our precious cheese toasties are safe. And delicious! So, let’s move on to this video question from
Max! MAX
Hi there GGSP, and I have two questions for you today. Number one, do you have any news on Kingdom Hearts 3? Number two, why
don’t you do t-shirts for video questions anymore? Bye! GEM Thanks Max! To your first question about Kingdom
Hearts 3 news. It sure has been a long, long time coming, but dare I say it seems
like we are getting closer to the actual release of the next instalment of this popular RPG series. RAD Indeed, over the past few years we’ve seen
little crumbs of info in the form of teaser trailers and such. But more recently some media outlets in the
US were actually given the opportunity of some hands-on play with the game. The feedback has been
generally positive, giving the impression that the game will be a true evolution. GEM I guess that’s to be expected considering
it’s been in development for such a long time. RAD
absolutly, I’d sure hope it would be an evolution after more than a decade! We do know that
the game will incorporate Disney and Pixar characters
and include themed worlds from Monsters Inc and Toy Story to name a few. It’s also said
to resolve the Dark Seeker storyline from the first game. GEM
Plus, didn’t the game director Tetsuya Nomura say he hopes to announce the release date
in June? So maybe E3 will shed some more light and
perhaps provide a release date, unless they announce it before. So, keep an eye out for that! Square Enix
did announce the game would be playable at E3 too. RAD
As for why we don’t do t-shirts for video questions anymore unfortunately the simple
answer is we’ve run out of shirts to giveaway! GEM
Oh my so we’re shirtless? RAD
I wouldn’t quite put it like that We just don’t have enough left to be able to give
to everyone that sends a question in. But! We do still send special signed fan cards
to all our video questioneers. Isn’t it cool doesnt it look like were having fun jumpimg and everything. And these come straight from our sweet little
hearts. In the end isn’t that much better than some thing like a t-shirt? GEM
Hmmm I dunno RAD
I think so. We are most definitely working on finding another extra special way to thank all our fearless video questions that
make it on to the show. In the meantime though, keep sending them so we can show you on screen. GEM
And hey, it’s pretty cool to be on TV right. And have your question answered by some of
the great minds of gaming that’s us. Moving on
and we have a question from Greg in German Perth Greg
I recently got a switch. I heard somewhere that Minecraft is coming out on the switch
but I can’t find it in stores, why is that? Thank You Greg Out! 🙂 ;3 :] ;} XD RAD
Thanks Greg! In answer to your question about Minecraft coming out on Switch, well a digital version of the game was made available via
the Nintendo eShop as of May last year. GEM
How! Ever! The newer Bedrock Edition is now set to be coming to the Switch in conjunction
with the release of a physical version of the game
on 21st June. Now, Rad, Greg says he’s from German Perth. I’ve heard of French Perth RAD
But of course GEM
But German Perth? What’s that like? RAD
Well, I’ve never been personally, but I assume lots-a leiderhosen. Und bratwurst. Und um
sauerkraut! GEM
Wow. Perth has such an array of European culture. French Perth, German Perth. Is there an Italian
Perth? Perth could almost have its own EuroPerthvision
song contest. RAD
That would. Be. So. Cool! I think we have time for one more question. This is from Exposion in Exlansion. Exposion
Hi GGSP I like you and games would you know any good goo games or explosion games. Do these: !) @) #) $) %) ^) &) *) &) and DaRrAn do these: I) W) I) s) H) hohohohohoho Thanks GEM
Oooh, let’s get Darren on the phone for those. DARREN
Gutentag? GEM
Hey Darren, quick, it’s emoji timeee! DARREN
Oh…ahem RAD
Hey Darren, while you’re here, do you know any good goo games? Or explosion games things
of that perticular nature? DARREN
Affirmative to all! I am quite the fan of amorphous blobs, you know. Who doesn’t love
a good viscous sludge? GEM
Uuuh each to their own I guess. Also, did you say Gutentag before? Where did that come
from? DARREN
Oh my region settings may have been set to German Perth. But, back to the question. Goo
and it’s goopy cousins like slime and putty are features
of quite a number of good games. Some of my favourites include physics puzzler
World of Goo, which as its name suggests is a world of goo! There’s also the slime-slinging fun of Slime
Rancher and some squishy co-op platforming in Putty Pals. And of course, slimes pop up in places like
Terraria and Minecraft but that’s really in more of a supporting role. RAD
Even the ink in Splatoon is a bit gooey, don’t you think Darren? DARREN
Affirmative. Though technically I believe it is ink. And it looks quite a lot like paint. Let’s say it’s on the gooeyness spectrum.
As for explosions, again, this also is a feature of loads of games. For example, in Minecraft you can use
TNT to explode things. And Creepers are known for their explosive nature. Also in the classic game
Lemmings, you can delegate some Lemmings the specific task to explode! Aha! I also enjoy the explosions
in the Worms games. And exploding is a prominent feature of games like Splosion Man and Ms
Splosion Man, as their names suggest. GEM
Thanks Darren! Or should I say, Dankeshoen DARREN
Aha, auf Wiedersehen! RAD
I didn’t know you spoke German Perthian GEM
Neither did I. On that note, we’re out of time! If you want to see your question on
GGSP, why not record your face saying the question
and send it through to us here: website swish RAD
Wow, there’s a lot to choose from if you’re a fan of goo or a fan of explosions isn’t
there. GEM
What about exploding goo? RAD
Let’s not go there…goo there GEM
Goood one. RAD
Goodentage.
