‘¿Qué Pasa, U.S.A.? Today!’ At The Adrienne Arsht Center

. WELCOME BACK NOW AT 5:30. A CLASSIC TV SHOW FROM THE 1970s THAT FOLLOWED THE LIVES OF A CUBAN FAMILY LIVING IN MIAMI HAS NOW BEEN TURNED INTO A STAGE PLAY OPENING THIS WEEK. A SPECIAL MEANING HERE IN MIAMI. CBS 4 LISA PATRILLO SHOWS US THE FEELING OF NOSTALGIA IS BIG FOR FANS AND ALSO THE RETURNING FULL CAST AS WELL. WOW. OH MY GOSH. I GOT TO PICK OUT GOOD SEATS FOR MY FAMILY. IT’S A FIRST LOOK AT THE STAGE THEY’LL PLAY LATER THIS WEEK FOR SOME OF THE CAST OF U.S.A. TODAY HERE. THE LIVE SHOW BASED ON A SHOW FROM THE 70s BRINGS BACK ORIGINAL CAST MEMBERS. WHEN YOU WENT OUT AND SAW THE STAGE, I SAW YOU GET A LITTLE — LOSE YOUR BREATH — IT’S A MAJOR STAGE. FOR ME, IT’S HARD TO CONTROL THE EMOTION. I’M SORT OF OVERWHELMED BY THE WHOLE THING. COFFEE IS ABOUT READY. THE ORIGINAL TV SERIES WAS THE FIRST BILINGUAL COME BY THAT FOLLOWED A CUBAN FAMILY. THE CAST SAID THIS STAGE SHOW IS ABOUT WHERE THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE NOW 40 YEARS LATER. IT CONTINUES OUR FRIENDSHIPS OVER 40 YEARS THAT WE HAD IN THE SERIES. WE’RE STILL USING A LOT OF SPANGLISH AND BILINGUAL. I FEEL THIS IS VALENTINE TO MIAMI AND THOSE PEOPLE THAT GREW UP WATCHING US OR LIVING VICARIOUSOUSLY THROUGH US AND THE — VICARIOUSLY THROUGH US OR THE FAMILY. WE WALKED ON TO DO A SCENE, I STARTED TO CRY FOR REAL. IT’S GOOD BECAUSE I NEEDED EMOTION IN THAT SCENE. HE BRINGS IT HE BRINGS THAT EMOTION BOWER IS FROM MIAMI AND STARRING IN THE HIT SHOW SERIES RAY DONOVAN AND SAYS THIS COULDN’T HAVE COME AT A BETTER TIME. IT CAME WITH MY EX FELLOW ACTORS. IT’S ON STAGE HERE THIS THURSDAY THROUGH MAY 26th. FOR MORE INFORMATION, GO TO OUR
