In other word… The Eastern diet… Every Eastern civilization had a version of this diet .. be it Ramadan… Or Jainism…or regular Hinduism with their 2 meal a day concept (note that do waqt ki roti is a common phrase … Not teen ..I e 2 meals a day not three )…. West needs to reprove things we have already proved eons ago ..but it's k… trusting something from a 1000 yrs ago is tough .. You do you 🙂

  7. In the past Traditional Indians have been doing it for up to 5 times a week, depending on which our prayers and the vows we wish to take. Monday it's normally for Shiva, Tuesday it's for Hanuman and so on and so forth. It's the recent generations that have shied away from it. Generally despite all the spices and the oils in our diet, our parents and grandparents had no real health issues and lived forever. So it clearly works. Recently my daughter lost 10kg, in 3 months from intermittent fasting from 8pm till 12 in the day. Amazing results and at 47 years old, it is working for me. I look and feel 10 years younger and it's going to get better.

    Real food foods don’t require an ingredient list. Meats, real cheeses, fruits, vegetables, water, coffee and tea unsweetened, exercising and fasting!
    No matter what I’m doing, where I travel, the occasion or holiday my eating doesn’t change! I eat only the foods mentioned or I fast! No calorie counting! I eat until don’t feel like eating anymore! If the foods I eat aren’t available I continue to fast! I’ve fasted for as long as three days!
    I eat when I’m ready to eat! My breakfast is (Break Fast)! I don’t eat in the morning! Only black coffee and water!
    No bread, pastas, pastries, rices, or potatoes!
    I’ve not eaten any of these for over a year!
    I don’t miss any of the foods I’ve eliminated!
    I don’t cheat with foods I’ve eliminated.
    I don’t miss my 3xl shirts or 38 waist pants! I don’t even get on the scale anymore!
    With real foods and real results! No ingredient list to read. When you eat real food you get real results!

I started I eat once a day witch is dinner I drink water all day and maybe a cup of coffee this is amazing it's only my day 5 and woooow I'm so loosing the weight very fast I get up very early energised my skin is cleansing up I hated water now water is my best friend I'm so happy I can't wait to see my body after 2 weeks I do indoor work outs guys it's amazing

  11. I tried intermittent fasting but it’s not something That would transition into a life habit for me. Only fasting for whole days at a time is where I found success. With intermittent I’m constantly looking at the clock anticipating those feasting hours which in turn keeps you hungry. Digestion starts in the brain.

I finish one month today of intermittent fasting.20 hours,4hours eating window.You have no idea how my tummy has dropped.My aim is till December which will be 6 months still doing the 20hours.I'm very patient with this process.This fasting works.I'm now going 48hours with no food….Let the clock keep on ticking……….

Sad I won't be able to I'm loosing weight by eating what I want and only eat 2-3 times a day and 1 snack depending also how heavy the food was it will be only 2 times a day but I used to weight 220 now I weight 207 💪 I go to the gym 3-4 times a week work out for 1 1/2 hour and I only use the lyptical I think that's how u call it lol

  14. Hey she lost 50 lbs and has loose drippy skin because she did it incorrectly. I lost 286 lbs and I have zero lose skin and I completely cured my diabetes but that's not a story because she's a young woman with pretty much all wrong infomation. To just start there is no restraints on when you start your fast or when you want to eat. Jist another person who found a little info on fasting. Why not have an expert on? Ya'll

  15. She must know someone on the show because she should of weighted till she lost all her fat. Then she wears tight cloths and looks fat again. Thick legs and all. Hey I'm only saying what everyone is thinking. She'll put that weight right back on if she stops IF. She should of done long term fasting for permanent weight loss.

  16. Eating breakfast became a necessity for farmers. They are constantly lifting pushing and pulling heavy things. They are in charge of 2000 lbs animals and acres of crops. Most people today dont do that so breakfast isn't always necessary.

  18. The thing is find a fast that works for you. I do 48 hours per week. May not be a complete week and like a day over the next. My days can change however around the same time. In my case I do it for medical reasons. I suffer ibs and fatty liver diease. I have lost weight as a result and it helps with my stomach bloating and pain. I only drink liquids. No food what so ever and mostly just water or green tea black without any sugar or milk since it's just how I like it. However yes. It's okay to have a coffee with sugar and milk. Just no food. You can start to feel lightheaded and dizzy. However a simple coffee isn't going to break the fast. Especially if your up walking around. If your sitting at home doing nothing during your fast. Then yes just water. However days you are more active on your feet. Grab a coffee with sugar and milk or something. No milkshake's though. Slurpee's with a massive sugar content or fat.

  19. Meghan Kelley, you're such a nitwit. You absolutely DO have to change what you what AND your portion sizes. Intermittent Fasting is amazing and completely healing if done right. It isn't an excuse to eat whatever you want.

  21. Intermittent fasting is rigorous…if u are only dedicated to it….if ur r doing any work which requires…mental focous…then u r completely exhausted

  22. I do 16 – 8 combined with low carb, not full Keto. Down 60lbs off my peak. Fasted workouts are very good too. My Diabetes is almost reversed.

We Muslims fast but, not to lose weight but, to please Allah(s.w.t) our creater and get good deeds because fasting is not for ourselves it's for our brothers and sisters whom are crying for hunger. We feel for our ummah Alhumdulia . Our Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) may peace be upon him has thought as the right way Shukr. Don't judge people. They know what they want.
    Which culture suits them.

  25. What is funny is that Sumaya says that she fasts monday, wednesday and friday. In eastern Orthodoxy (I am Romanian) the tradition says you should fast in exactly those days. Why? Monday, in honour of angels, wednesday to comemorate Juda`s betrayal of Lord Jesus Christ and friday as a memory of His painfull death on the cross for us. So, basically, nothing new under the sun.
