-BTS. Good to see you guys again.
-Whoo! -Hello. We are…
-BTS. -Welcome back to the Grammys.
-Hi, Ryan. -Hello.
-Hey. -So, you´re performing tonight. I know you can´t give everything away, but let´s just back
it up for a second. You´ve been here before.
You´re back again, this time onstage to perform. How did you find out about it? -Like two weeks ago, three weeks ago.
I don´t remember, but our label people just told us. ´Cause we´re not expecting to settle, ´cause, you know,
like, there are rules, like, if you´re not nominated, you can´t have the performance. So, like, we were not — “Okay, we cannot –”
-You were a little bit bummed, right? -Yeah.
-“We´re not gonna be up there.” And then? -We´re not gonna be there, and then O-Town happens. Thanks to Lil Nas and the Grammys. -And so now you´ll be up onstage.
Give us a preview of what we can expect. -We´re totally —
-Actually, just give us a little preview. Go ahead. [ Laughs ]
-We have some little move for Lil Nas. -Hey!
-Yeah, yeah? -We have some little moves with Nas together.
-How´d the rehearsal go? -It was okay, but there´s some technology thing, and it was
kind of like out of order. And, you know, we´d do it over again and again, but it was
still fun. -So, I´m sure it´ll work out when you get on the air. Now, you have incredible loyal fans around the world. How does that help keep you going? -It´s something, like, we can never get used to. Like, we, like, have this performance, like, in front of
like 50,000, like 60,000. It´s still amazing.
And, they, you know — It´s all love. It´s all about love, and, you know, it truly transcends
-…races, like, nationalities, everything. -And you´ve got a new album coming out.
End of February, right? -[ Speaking Korean ]
-Yeah, yeah. -Yeah?
-[ Speaking Korean ] Any words about a new album?
Come on, Jung. -You will know when you listen to our new album and watch
the performance. …liking BTS was the best decision ever. -Oh!
-[ Clapping ] -I like that.
What can you tell us about the vibe of the album? -It´s gonna be — I can´t tell you all the details, but it´s
gonna be, like, whatever you´re expecting it is, it´s gonna be better and harder.
-It´s mostly in Korean, but some English? -Yes. It´s always been Korean, actually. -It´s all?
-Yeah. -It´s all Korean, but with some little English. -Ballads, upbeat, as well?
-Ballads, upbeats. Everything, every kind. -Do you know, I´m wondering, you are the spokesman for the
group. You answer the questions brilliantly.
Do the guys ever get upset with your answers? Do you ever answer something, they say, “That´s not what we
wanted to say?” -[ Speaking Korean ] -No.
-No, no, no, no, no, no. -[ Laughs ]
-Never. Never. -Come on.
They´re gonna beat me up, like, backstage. -[ Laughs ] He´s always perfect. Great to see you guys.
Continued success. BTS, everybody!
